With the new current-carrying close coupler from ESU, you can reliably transfer current from one car to the other without having to install separate current sliders or even centre sliders in each car. This way you avoid unnecessary frictional resistance. The coupling is designed with two poles so that the current for the interior lighting or rear lights of your wagons can be transmitted without any problems. But also a loudspeaker can be installed with our coupler, for example in a ghost car, and fed from the LokSound decoder located in the locomotive. The spring contacts can be loaded with up to 1A. The mechanical (short) coupling is done via a conventional bracket and ensures a reliable connection between the wagons. The coupling can be plugged into any NEM 362 standard coupling shaft. The two already mounted, super-flexible connection strands ensure optimal mobility of bogies and coupling kinematics.
