This light module is a direct replacement for the original Märklin light modules, which were equipped with yellow LEDs.
The light colour of the cold white LED matches newer electric locomotives. However, we recommend the version with warm white LEDs (8109).
Easy replacement: Remove the existing PCB and solder the three wires at the same place on the new PCB.
In contrast to the Märklin PCB, this PCB can also be connected directly to decoder outputs, as the corresponding series resistors are already present.
