The circuit board 8040 has been developed for various Märklin steam locomotives with a tender to digitize them in the easiest and cleanest way.
The PCB is equipped with a 21MTC interface, all important connections are led out to large solder pads.
On the circuit board is a white LED for the tail light, so the existing bulb can be removed. Nevertheless there are soldering connections for the bulb on the PCB, if you prefer the bulb.
The PCB has the same size of 62 x 26mm as the original pcb and therefore fits exactly into the tender of various Märklin steam locomotives instead of the original pcb and is fixed with the existing screws.
Compatible Locomotives
Various Märklin steam locomotives of the series BR01, BR03, BR24 with long tender, BR41, BR43, BR44, BR50, BR52, series 25021 SNCB of older design as well as other steam locomotives with long tender can be converted with this printed circuit board, for example
BR03: 33951, 33952, 37951, 37952
BR24: 30032
BR43, BR44: 29845, 34880, 34882, 34883, 34884, 37880, 37882, 37884, 37885
BR50: 33840, 37840, 37841, 37844
and others.
Direct replacement for the Märklin decoders 664150, 600258, 602758, 673380 and 609145.
Compare the existing circuit board of your loco with the picture above.
Tip: If you use a decoder with amplified aux outputs like the ESU LokPilot V4.0 M4 MKL (64618), you have full decoder voltage at the aux 3 and aux 4 connectors and can connect loads directly to them.
